A commission is a collaboration between the artist and the client. The size and cost depend upon what you and I agree upon. It is easy to do preliminary plans via email. You can email photos of your subject, some overall shots and also close-ups of details. We can schedule a phone conference to make decisions about the painting, and I may ask for additional photos. This is an excellent way to preserve and share memories of a family home, business, or memorable vacation. Also, organizations and companies often commission paintings and may have reproductions made to use as gifts to customers, retiring employees, or donors.
